Long Hazel Lodges is a fully residential lodge park home development for the over 50s.
We are accessed directly from the High Street by our own two lane private, tarmac road. The Reception is accessed via ramps and wide enough for wheelchair access. There is parking directly outside our Reception. Any initial meetings on site will take place in our Reception area and we can discuss access needs to the development. We are happy for you to bring a companion or family member to meetings with us if needed.
Reception to the development is approximately 50 yards and there is parking should this be more accessible. You do not need a blue badge to park on our land. The road from the Reception to the gated residential development is partly tarmac and partly compacted gravel and flat.
All lodges can be built with ramps and wrap around deckings. Wider doors, lower light switches and lower kitchen units can be installed upon ordering and all bathrooms can be adapted for disabilities. Outside facilities will feature electric charging points for wheelchairs, scooters and cars. Grab rails can be fitted externally and internally where needed. A metal storage shed can be positioned in the garden area to store wheelchairs and scooters.
We accept up to two pets in residential lodges, including assistance dogs. If you require carers to visit, there is visitor parking on the development. There is on-site parking planned for emergency vehicles in the development.
Our nearest doctor's surgery is Queen Camel Medical Centre (2 miles) and they are accepting new patients from our development.
There is a shop within 400 yards and a pub within 100 yards. Both facilities are accessed by pavement and there are drop kerbs to cross the road.
